Make sure to stop by the Kids Eco Fitness Center where you will be able to meet, run drills with and even toss footballs with Atlanta Falcons starting Fullback, Ovie Mughelli.  Ovie will be on-site both days of the expo and he will have a few of his friends with him...  So make sure to come by and say HEY!

Ovie is a 8-year NFL veteran, signed by the Atlanta Falcons in March 2007 and a 4th round draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens in 2003.  One of the biggest fullbacks in the NFL, Ovie is known for being a power blocker, for being able to pick up blitzes, and has one of the best special team minds in the game.

A fullback in college for Wake Forest, Ovie was selected for All ACC First-Team in that position.  He started every game in his senior year as a Demon Deacon, coming in with the third highest rushing touchdown record in school history.   He was rated the number one fullback by USA Today.

In high school, Mughelli attended the exclusive Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, South Carolina.  He was an outstanding student and a letterman in football, basketball, tennis, and track & field. In football, he rushed for more than 4,500 yards and scored 69 touchdowns during his high school career.

Currently, Ovie maintains his position as a starting fullback with the Falcons.  He is heavily involved with his community, especially through his Ovie Mughelli Foundation, which empowers the youth to take ownership and pride about their lives and the roles that they play in society.  The Foundation emphasizes assisting quality programs that educate the youth on the environment.


 


Alive! Expo likes to recognize artists that are doing their part in being more "Green" and "Eco Friendly"  This new section will be comprises of artists showcasing their original work that is either hand-made or created from or using recycled or reclaimed items.  This is a new and exciting addition to the Alive! Expo and we hope to grow this section to be able to showcase many talented local and regional artists.  Below are just a few items that you'll be able find at this year's Alive! Expo Green Artist Market. Current participants include Red Hair Girl Designs, Mark Edge Jewelry, Lady Bug Designs, Isea Designs and LB Enterprises Group, Inc. Every day we add more artists so be sure to come by the show and see what's new and exciting!!!

   This Eco Fashion Show will be based on all things that are "ECO-Friendly".  We have student designers from Bauder College that have produced original and own pieces that involved using recycled materials.

This show is a MUST SEE!!! You will be amazed at what we can do with Recycled materials and help to do our part in teaching everyone the benefits of going green.

The Eco Fashion Show will take place twice on each day of the Alive! Expo. Exact times of the each show will be posted on the demo schedule available on our website under the "Seminars & Events" tab, as well as on the show signage at the Fitness Stage on the Show Floor.
